An alumnus of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is a trained demographer and a health sector expert. Before setting up CREATE Group, he had worked around 13 years with one of India's premier research and consultancy organization called Operation Research Group (ORG), which is now Nielsen-ORG. As a UP head of ORG he has handled several multi-disciplinary projects either as a Leader or Core Team member.

Involved in large number of studies as Team Leader and Core Team Member pertaining to Health Systems, Reproductive and Child Health (RCH), Water supply and Sanitation, Rural Development, Education besides the projects related to the training, management and organisational aspects. Also has fair amount of experience in Market and opinion research. In a nutshell, Mr Khan has 32 years of experience in writing proposals, planning, execution, analysis, report writing of numerous studies and projects and dissemination of findings to the clients and different stakeholders.

Member of many professional bodies like Indian Association for Study of Population (IASP), Indian Society for Medical Statistics (ISMS), Member Ethics Committee, Institute of Medical Sciences, Integral University, Lucknow besides other Social and philanthropic organizations in Lucknow and outside.

He is an alumnus of Kanpur University acquired his Post Graduate in Economics. Has worked with a Govt of India Undertaking in a middle level management position. Since joining CREATE way back in year 2000 and had nearly two decades of extensive experience in planning, execution, monitoring of ongoing projects.

He also plays an important role in quality assurance and logistic management. Participates in training, undertake field tours for monitoring and ensures reporting by field executives and supervisors on a daily basis.

Hemlata is Masters in Psychology from Maharaja Sayaji Rao University of Vadodara, Gujarat, India. She has over 15 years of experience in development related social science research.

 

Well experience in planning, implementing, monitoring, developing tools, training of field staff in the areas related to health, adolescent health, reproductive and child health, family planning, sexual behaviour and education. Have in-depth experience of analyzing, interpreting and reporting quantitative and qualitative data and excellent report writing skill. Presented papers at international conferences and have some published and written many unpublished papers. Regularly guided graduates and post graduate Psychology students for their academic project. As part of the placement developed “Prejudices Scale to Measure Prejudices among Health Care Providers” and also used “Geriatric Depression Scale to screen Depression” among the aged population living in the Old Age Homes in Gujarat, India.

Mr. Lalit Kumar Lohani has completed his graduation in Science from Lucknow University, whereas Post Graduation in Economics from Kanpur University. He also holds a Diploma in Computer Programming. 

 

Before joining CREATE as a Research Assistant, he has worked with Nielsen-ORG and MODE Research in the field. Since joining CREATE, he had been involved in several multi-disciplinary studies and projects pertaining to reproductive health, health systems, population, socio-economic, opinion and market research sectors. He was the Core Member of the team in prestigious 'Global Adult Tobacco Survey-I (GATS 2008-09) by IIPS-Mumbai) and 'Global Adult Tobacco Survey-II (GATS 2016-17 by TISS-Mumbai). Attended Master Trainers' workshops in Mumbai. Besides, he has featured on all CREATE study teams for 'Social Marketing Studies for contraceptives and RH products' sponsored by 'Futures Group International/USAID' in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

He has ability in program planning and delivering work within the stipulated time schedule. Demonstrated capabilities in analyzing and reporting quantitative and qualitative techniques for development related research. Fair report writing skills and able to create /design tools and questionnaires as per the needs of the projects/studies.  Excels at building rapport with team members and clients. Proficient with CSPro, SPSS, Microsoft Excel and fluent in Hindi and English.

Ms. Manisha Johari is an alumnus of Lucknow University. She did her Post Graduation in Sociology. Later, she acquired a Diploma in Computer Science in 1999 from Aptech, Lucknow. 

 

She went on to join then ORG in a very prestigious project sponsored by USAID and SIFPSA in the year 1995. She worked in various capacities e.g. Research Assistant, Field Editor and quality controller. She has also worked in National Family Health Survey (NFHS-2) and DLHS-2 sponsored by IIPS and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, GoI.

Azhar Alam Khan has received his schooling from one of Lucknow's prestigious English Medium School, Study Hall. He completed his Graduation in Commerce with Economics from Lucknow's famous educational institution, The Christian College Lucknow. Received his Masters in Business Administration i.e. MBA from Integral University Lucknow and did a project on "Customers Satisfaction on Big Bazar' a retail chain. Since completing his MBA he has been working with CREATE as a Research Executive. Has been on core teams constituted for various studies undertaken since his joining.

In short span of three years he has acquired good analytical and writing skills. Demonstrated capability in monitoring of data collection, filing reports of his observations on various aspects to the field with Principal Investigator. Good at developing rapport with the research/field teams as well as with the clients. Displaying his fast learning abilities he has developed proficiency in working with software programs like CSPro, SPSS and Microsoft Excel.
